Snow White

Snow White

Kristin Kreuk
Snow White was the first of the long legacy of Disney Princesses (Or awesome female Disney characters). Snow White was in the movie "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Snow Whites step mother tries to have Snow White killed for being the fairest in the land, but instead Snow White finds herself with seven quirky mining dwarfs. I would describe Snow White as fair, nobal, and honest.

Kristin Kreuk actually played a tv movie as Snow White, and why not? She has those piercing eyes, the pale skin and the dark hair. Krisitn also has the acting skills to pull of the kind-hearted princess type. You may recognize Kristin as Fiona on "Eurotrip," or as Lana Lang on the smash hit tv show "Smallville."

Cinderella

Cinderella
Emilie de Ravin

Cinderella is the star of the Disney princesses. The movie she was in was 'surprisingly' called "Cinderella." Cinderella, who loses her mother and father at a young age, grows up with an evil step mother and two evil step sisters who force her to clean and take care of them. Cinderella is your typical blonde hair, blue-eyed babe. I would describe her as positive, animal friendly, and persistant.

Emilie de Ravin is gorgeous, and fits the image of the queen of all the princesses, Cinderella. They both have big blue eyes and beautiful long locks. Plus as a bonus Emilie is an insanely good actress. You may know her as Brenda Carter from "The Hills have Eyes," as Ally Craig in the romatic movie "Remember Me," or most notably as Clair Littleton on the tv phenomena "Lost."

Alice

Alice

AnnaSophia Robb

Yes Alice isn't a princess, but she is a ridiculously famous Disney character. Alice appears in the movie "Alice in Wonderland." In this story Alice follows a white rabbit through a land of mystery and intrigue. Alice has blonde hair and wears an adorable blue dress. I would describe Alice as trusting, resourceful, and eager.

Although there is nothing wrong with Mia Wasikowska I believe that AnnaSophia Robb has a better 'Alice' look to her. With long blonde hair and a young face, she would make an unbelieveable Alice. On top of that AnnaSophia has acting skills to boot. You may recognize her as Violet Beauregarde in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", Leslie Burke in Disney's tear-jerker "Bridge to Terabithia," or as Bethany Hamilton in "Soul Surfer."

P.S. I can not get these pics to go side by side no matter what I do >:( sorry bloggers

Princess Eilonwy

Princess Eilonwy

Emily Osment
Okay so Princess Eilonwy is not the most popular princess, but she still is one. Eilonwy was in Disney's "The Black Cauldron." She shares similarites in looks to Princess Aurora, with dirty blonde hair tide back with a headband, and curious eyes. I would describe her as young, reasonable and down to earth.

Once again, not such a fan of using Disney stars. I find that watching them make all of these stupid comedies makes me believe I could never take them seriously as actors. However in this case, at least look's wise, Emily Osment does strongly resemble Princess Eilonwy (at least in my mind). You might recognize Emily from her younger days as Gerti Giggles from "Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams," & "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over," or by her role as bestfriend Lily Truscott on Disney channel show "Hannah Montana."

Princess Ariel

Princess Ariel

Amy Adams

Princess Ariel is the star of the famous Disney movie, "The Little Mermaid." Ariel, a princess of the sea, dreams of what life is like on the land. Ariel has flaming red hair, and giant innoncent sea blue eyes. I would describe Ariel as playful, naive and innocent.

It's probably no surprise that I chose Amy Adams for Ariel, but why wouldn't I? She is perfect! Just look at the pictures, and thats all I need to say. You may recognize Amy from her role as Susan in "Talladega Nights," her role as Charlene Flemming in "The Figher," and her role as Giselle in Disney's "Enchanted."

Princess Belle

Nina Dobrev

Princess Belle

This princess I kind of have a bit of a biast opinion about (she's my favourite). This is Princess Belle from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." Belle is locked away in an enchanted tower with a terrifying beast. The beast must find someone to love him despite his appearance before his 21st birthday. Belle is the only Disney Princess to have brown hair and brown eyes. I would describe her as humble, book-smart, and forgiving.

Nina Dobrev was my first choice for Belle because not only is she beautiful (like the name Belle means), but she also has a young innocent look to her, which I think is important to the character of Belle. They both have long brown hair, and brown eyes. You may recognize Nina from her chracter Mia Jones, on "Degrassi: The Next Generation," from her role as Maria in the horror movie "The Roommate," or by her most famous role as Elena Gilbert on "The Vampire Diaries."

Princess Jasmine

Princess Jasmine
Gemma Arterton

Princess Jasmine was in the Arabian Disney film "Aladdin." As a princess who is being pushed to marry, Jasmine escapes the castle only to meet a beggar (Aladdin) who claims to be a prince to win the princesses heart. Jasmine has very long dark wavy hair and is always adorning large gold jewlery.

I chose Gemma Arterton for this postion mainly because I saw the wonderful job she did acting as a Persian Princess in "The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time." After seeing her play that role, all I could think of was of how much she reminded me of Jasmine. It doesnt hurt that they look fairly similar as well. You may recognize Gemma from her roles in "Quantum Solace," or "Clash of the Titans."
