Snow White

Snow White

Kristin Kreuk
Snow White was the first of the long legacy of Disney Princesses (Or awesome female Disney characters). Snow White was in the movie "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Snow Whites step mother tries to have Snow White killed for being the fairest in the land, but instead Snow White finds herself with seven quirky mining dwarfs. I would describe Snow White as fair, nobal, and honest.

Kristin Kreuk actually played a tv movie as Snow White, and why not? She has those piercing eyes, the pale skin and the dark hair. Krisitn also has the acting skills to pull of the kind-hearted princess type. You may recognize Kristin as Fiona on "Eurotrip," or as Lana Lang on the smash hit tv show "Smallville."

Cinderella

Cinderella
Emilie de Ravin

Cinderella is the star of the Disney princesses. The movie she was in was 'surprisingly' called "Cinderella." Cinderella, who loses her mother and father at a young age, grows up with an evil step mother and two evil step sisters who force her to clean and take care of them. Cinderella is your typical blonde hair, blue-eyed babe. I would describe her as positive, animal friendly, and persistant.

Emilie de Ravin is gorgeous, and fits the image of the queen of all the princesses, Cinderella. They both have big blue eyes and beautiful long locks. Plus as a bonus Emilie is an insanely good actress. You may know her as Brenda Carter from "The Hills have Eyes," as Ally Craig in the romatic movie "Remember Me," or most notably as Clair Littleton on the tv phenomena "Lost."

Alice

Alice

AnnaSophia Robb

Yes Alice isn't a princess, but she is a ridiculously famous Disney character. Alice appears in the movie "Alice in Wonderland." In this story Alice follows a white rabbit through a land of mystery and intrigue. Alice has blonde hair and wears an adorable blue dress. I would describe Alice as trusting, resourceful, and eager.

Although there is nothing wrong with Mia Wasikowska I believe that AnnaSophia Robb has a better 'Alice' look to her. With long blonde hair and a young face, she would make an unbelieveable Alice. On top of that AnnaSophia has acting skills to boot. You may recognize her as Violet Beauregarde in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", Leslie Burke in Disney's tear-jerker "Bridge to Terabithia," or as Bethany Hamilton in "Soul Surfer."

P.S. I can not get these pics to go side by side no matter what I do >:( sorry bloggers

Princess Eilonwy

Princess Eilonwy

Emily Osment
Okay so Princess Eilonwy is not the most popular princess, but she still is one. Eilonwy was in Disney's "The Black Cauldron." She shares similarites in looks to Princess Aurora, with dirty blonde hair tide back with a headband, and curious eyes. I would describe her as young, reasonable and down to earth.

Once again, not such a fan of using Disney stars. I find that watching them make all of these stupid comedies makes me believe I could never take them seriously as actors. However in this case, at least look's wise, Emily Osment does strongly resemble Princess Eilonwy (at least in my mind). You might recognize Emily from her younger days as Gerti Giggles from "Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams," & "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over," or by her role as bestfriend Lily Truscott on Disney channel show "Hannah Montana."

Princess Ariel

Princess Ariel

Amy Adams

Princess Ariel is the star of the famous Disney movie, "The Little Mermaid." Ariel, a princess of the sea, dreams of what life is like on the land. Ariel has flaming red hair, and giant innoncent sea blue eyes. I would describe Ariel as playful, naive and innocent.

It's probably no surprise that I chose Amy Adams for Ariel, but why wouldn't I? She is perfect! Just look at the pictures, and thats all I need to say. You may recognize Amy from her role as Susan in "Talladega Nights," her role as Charlene Flemming in "The Figher," and her role as Giselle in Disney's "Enchanted."

Princess Belle

Nina Dobrev

Princess Belle

This princess I kind of have a bit of a biast opinion about (she's my favourite). This is Princess Belle from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." Belle is locked away in an enchanted tower with a terrifying beast. The beast must find someone to love him despite his appearance before his 21st birthday. Belle is the only Disney Princess to have brown hair and brown eyes. I would describe her as humble, book-smart, and forgiving.

Nina Dobrev was my first choice for Belle because not only is she beautiful (like the name Belle means), but she also has a young innocent look to her, which I think is important to the character of Belle. They both have long brown hair, and brown eyes. You may recognize Nina from her chracter Mia Jones, on "Degrassi: The Next Generation," from her role as Maria in the horror movie "The Roommate," or by her most famous role as Elena Gilbert on "The Vampire Diaries."

Princess Jasmine

Princess Jasmine
Gemma Arterton

Princess Jasmine was in the Arabian Disney film "Aladdin." As a princess who is being pushed to marry, Jasmine escapes the castle only to meet a beggar (Aladdin) who claims to be a prince to win the princesses heart. Jasmine has very long dark wavy hair and is always adorning large gold jewlery.

I chose Gemma Arterton for this postion mainly because I saw the wonderful job she did acting as a Persian Princess in "The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time." After seeing her play that role, all I could think of was of how much she reminded me of Jasmine. It doesnt hurt that they look fairly similar as well. You may recognize Gemma from her roles in "Quantum Solace," or "Clash of the Titans."

Pocahontas

Tinsel Korey

Pocahontas

The next princess is Pocahontas from Disney's... "Pocahontas!!" Pocahontas is a young native girl who falls in love with a British settler. Pocahontas has dark eyes, dark hair and high cheek bones. I would describe her as strong, spiritual and musical. We all know she paints with colours of the wind.

Tinsel Korey is an awesome choice for Pocahontas. I especially love their matching high cheek bones. You may recognize Tinsel as playing Emily on "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," and "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." She will also play Emily in the upcoming two part movie of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn."

Esmeralda

Esmeralda

Mila Kunis

Esmeralda is the wild gypsy girl in the Disney movie "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." Esmeralda befriends Quasimodo despite his 'hideous' hunchback. I would describe Esmeralda as free, wild and un-tameable. Probably one of the sexiest Disney princesses (not that there aren't others).

Mila Kunis as Esmeralda would be downright hot! We already know from her powerful performance in "Black Swan" that shes able to pull off the total bad-ass yet still totally cool character. On top of that Esmeralda and her both share gorgeous dark hair and bright green eyes. You may recognize Mila from her character Jackie on "That 70's Show," by her character Rachel in the amazing comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," or by her voice acting as Meg Griffin on "Family Guy."

Megara

Megara

Victoria Justice

So once again not a princess (Let's just go with Disney girls from now on shall we?) Megara or Meg, as she is most often called, was the lead female in the Disney film "Hercules." She has long brown hair and is always dressed in the Grecian style. I would describe Meg as self-confident, sarcastic and deep down a sucker for romance.

Okay so I don't love choosing Disney channel stars, but I honestly thought Victoria Justice looked the part. The hair, face shape and smile all scream Meg to me. Could she play her in real life? Probably questionable, but for all intent and purposes I chose her for this role. You might recognize Victoria from the disney channel show "Zoey 101" where she played Lola, or from her new show "Victorious."

Mulan

Maggie Q

Mulan

Released right before "Tarzan," came the Oriental hit "Mulan." Mulan, the main character, struggles to find her place in a world of men, while still honouring her country and family. Mulan has long (or cut short) black hair, with slanted eyes and light pink lips. I would describe Mulan as brave, independent and honourable.

Maggie Q was an easy choice. Not only is Mulan a kick-ass character but Maggie Q fits that persona perfectly in her new show "Nikita." They also have many similar facial features. You may recognize Maggie Q from "Nikita," the adrenaline pumping "Live Free or Die Hard," where she played Mai Linh, or from the hilarious comedy "Balls of Fury."

Jane

Jane

Alexis Bledel

So I know Jane is not exactly a princess, but she is still one of the Disney leading ladies. Jane starred in "Tarzan," oppostie the infamous ape man. Jane has straight brown hair and big gorgeous blue eyes. I would describe her as curious, intelligent and proper.

Alexis Bledel would make the most adorable Jane ever! Even in these pictures they look eerily alike. You may remember Alexis from the hit tv series "Gilmore Girls," the heartfelt love story "Tuck Everlasting," or from her most recent films "The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants" sega.

Princess Kida (Kidagakash)

Princess Kida

Nicki Minaj

Princess Kida is not as well know as the rest of the Disney girls, but she is still a tribal princess. Princess Kida appeared in "Atlantis: The Lost Empire." She had ethereal white hair against dark tanned skin. I would describe her as adventurous, mystic and wise.

Okay so I know Nicki Minaj is not an actress, but I was having some trouble finding someone who looked like Kida. I also agree that in a lot of cases Nicki does not look anything like Kida, but you have to admit this picture bares strong resemblence. The white hair, the round eyes, and the light pink lips. You may know Nicki for some of her songs such as "Moment for Life," and "Dungeon Dragon."

Princess Tiana

Princess Tiana

Zoe Saldana
The next newest release was "Then Princess and the Frog," featuring Princess Tiana. This was a breakthrough step for the Disney company because it featured their first African-American princess. Princess Tiana has beauitful brown eyes, perfect skin tone, and a blinding white smile. I would describe her as hard-working, practical and talented.

The obvious choice for her real-life double would have to be Zoe Saldana. Its not difficult to see how easily these two beauties are alike. Zoe acted as Anamaria in Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," as Uhura in "Star Trek," and most notably was the voice actress for Neytiri in the blockbuster smash "Avatar."

Rapunzel

Rapunzel
Alexandria Deberry

Okay so I decided I'd start things off with the newest Disney Princess to make her appearance, and that would be Rapunzel from the recent Disney movie "Tangled". Rapunzel has characteristically long wavy blonde hair, and big bright eyes. I would descirbe her as excitable, curious and big-hearted.

Looking at these two pictures there is no doubt that Alexandria Deberry and Rapunzel share many features. You may remember Alexandria from her role in "Love and Mary" as Sara Pederson, or recognize her character Destiny on the new Disney Channel hit series "Shake it Up."
